nginx. Lighttpd has remote security holes once in a while. nginx has better security design and is more modular and faster. It happens to also be feature-rich, which is not easy to do in a fast and secure server. Lighttpd had one recent remote hole as of .18. IIRC nginx had none. -- "But oftentimes I'm asked: Why?
