Hello,

A friend tested the FreedomBox 0.5 Raspberry Pi image on Raspberry Pi 2
and it boots and works normally.

The kernel reports architecture armv7l and userland is Debian armel.
Upon closer examination, it turns out that the new firmware update
script is pulling kernel images for ARMV6 and ARMV7. On RPi 2, the
ARMV7 kernel is booted while on RPi the ARMV6 kernel is booted.

If you had problems with FreedomBox 0.3 image not booting on your
Raspberry Pi 2 or if you were not sure Raspberry Pi 2 was supported,
then try the new image. If you are, however, looking to buy a new
device, prefer an Open Hardware device like BeagleBone Black instead.
