Yeah, I noticed that there was an update to eselect, so I emerged it. That one had no effect. Then I saw the portage one and just went 'meh, hell with it' and it's updating all packages now (around 160 packages.) I would imagine after it finishes that it'll be fine. After my first post I noticed the 'news v2' format or somesuch and thought "Oh, new news layout" or something similar. Sorry for the noise. I should've just told my PC to update but it's my mythtv backend so I don't update it unless I know there's not any recordings scheduled to happen. Today was the first day where I had an opportunity... Dan
