Thanks for fixing this earlier. I'm not sure if it broke again or if it is
still the same issue, but at the moment download.gluster.org is unreachable
through IPv6 while it does have an AAAA record. This means that calls to
download.gluster.org will eventually succeed, but since IPv6 has priority over
IPv4 there is quite a long delay.
You can verify the issue here, which shows the webserver does not respond to
requests over IPv6 for the domain "download.gluster.org":
