errors in make check

The command "make check" produces a number of failures for me.  I am using on a MacBook pro running macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 and XCode 15.2.  To build, I run [gmp-6.3.0]  configure --prefix=/Users/reimer/Documents/local > ../gmp-6.3.0Configure.log InstalledDir: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin Darwin CSI358562 23.2.0 Darwin Kernel Version 23.2.0: Wed Nov 15 21:54:10 PST 2023; root:xnu-10002.61.3~2/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64
