I just re-enabled XAG and XAU quotes in the 'National Securities' list of Security Editor in gnucash and, suprise, they are now working. I have no idea where gc sources those quotes from, the Security Editor does not say/offer that info (nor can it be changed) but the quotes do appear to be real time so I'm guessing it's your alphavantage module. I have no clue. But it appears to be working. So I now have *2* working f:q / gc sources of currency/metals quotes. Thanks.
