Andre, If you want to track anything about those items, as Geert pointed out, no there is no inventory system.
However, if all you want is a way to quickly fill in the name of said items, the auto-fill feature can help. Once an item is entered one time, the next time you start to type the same letters, auto-fill will attempt to provide a match to save some time. If you prefer, you could create a dummy invoice and type in every item once, then clear the invoice. (and even re-use it) Then every invoice from then on would work on auto-fill, but if you have a large product selection, that could be a bit too much work for too little benefit. You can import invoices to Gnucash - see the Guide for formatting. (http://gnucash.org/viewdoc.phtml?doc=guide chapter 18) If you have no other point of sale/inventory management software, there are many spreadsheet templates out there that implement a rudimentary one at least to the point of having an inventory list you can create invoices from.
