The Trace file error that I think matches is:

* 17:30:21  CRIT <gnc.ledger> [gnc_split_register_get_trans_split()] bad
row
* 17:30:21  CRIT <gnc.register.gnome> gnucash_sheet_cursor_set_from_table:
assertion 'gnucash_sheet_cell_valid (sheet, v_loc)' failed

Where does the bad row come from if I only have three rows in this
transaction?

Subject: Error when editing Scheduled Transaction
To: Gnucash Users <gnucash-user@gnucash.org>

in Getdeb Release 2.6.17 in Ubuntu 16.04. The message popped up when I
tried to save a change to a scheduled transaction and the wording
is"Invalid Account in Split" "Split with memo has an invalid account"

All three accounts in the transaction are existing but this message pops up
when I try to save
