Geert, The default theme is Mint-X. There is a Mint-X Dark GTK-3 theme available as well and GnuCash comes up nicely in it. It is installable from the Menu->Preferences->Themes dialog in the Cinnamon desktop. I would say on Mint all you have to do is select a dark theme at the system level. There are many available for download. Thanks
