I recently upgraded my laptop to xubuntu 23.10 and that also upraded gnucash to version 5.3.
Now, every time I start Gnucash I see the following error:- chris$ gnucash -v (gnucash:102770): dbind-WARNING **: 17:48:49.556: Couldn't connect to accessibility bus: Failed to connect to socket /root/.cache/at-spi/bus_0.0: Permission denied GnuCash 5.3 Build ID: 5.3+(2023-06-26) So, why is it trying to create/connect to a socket in /root? It's bound to get a permission error. It seems to run OK in spite of this. -- Chris Green _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list gnucash-user@gnucash.org To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
