An x64 build will work only on 64-bit PCs, a 32-bit build works on both. Windows 11 doesn't support 32-bit and Windows 10, which does support 32-bit computers, goes end-of-life this May. We don't "officially" support operating systems after EOL so I guess at some point after that we can switch to 64-bit builds on Windows.
