Of course, that's also a good > way to learn, but only if you have an effectively infinite supply of > time on your hands. ;) OK, I found the source of those "unknown keys" /usr/local/share/gnupg -r--r--r-- 1 root wheel 27K Jan 20 22:43 com-certs.pem I renamed the file, deleted the "~/.gnupg/*.kbx" files and restarted GPA and the problem disappeared. I still don't know what those 'certs' are suppose to be for; however, the system seems to work fine without them. Furthermore, prior to updating my system, those files were either not available or not being loaded. I don't know which.
