Goan Welfare Society Annual Meeting The Annual General body Meeting of the Goan Welfare Society, will be held on Friday, 24th October, 2008 from 11.00 am onwards at Carlton Tower Hotel, to transact the following business: 1) -To adopt the amendments to the Memorandum of Association of the Goan Welfare Society. 2) -To resolve pending issues as discussed in the previous extra-ordinary Meeting. 3) -Presentation of the Annual Activities Report for the period ending August, 2008. 4) -Presentation of the Annual Financial Statement for the fiscal year ending August, 2008. 5) -Elections to constitute the new Managing Committee for the terms stipulated in the Memorandum of Association. 6) Any other business with the permission of the Chairman. Members are hereby requested to attend and participate in the deliberations. Those desirous of contesting the elections are required to file their nominations, on or before the 20th of October, 2008, to enable smooth conduct of the process.
