Thank you, Mervyn, for sharing the origin of “Cock and Bull Stories.” Well, these tall tales were also shared during Cowboy and ‘Indian' encounters in the North American Wild West. And near my birthplace in Peshawar, now in Pakistan, where caravans coming through Khyber Pass had tall tales, called Qissas, to share. The name of the street in Peshawar is Qissa Khwani Bazar.
