GWS - Kuwait felicitates SSC Top-Rankers The Goan Welfare Society – Kuwiat, in coordination with the Lions Club of Loutolim, organized the Awards presentation ceremony, on the 4th of October, 2008, in the premises of the Loyola High School, Margao-Goa, to felicitate and honour, the two top ranking students from Goa, who presented their credentials, in response to the announcements published in the news media, for the prestigious GWS Awards. The Awards include, Certificates of Merit and Cash Packets. The GWS Awards, have been generously offered by, Mr & Mrs Sam Alphonso, Patron Members of the Goan Welfare Society. The Awards were presented to Master Nikhil Krishna Sahakari, a student of A.J. de Almeida High School, Ponda, who secured 92.67 per cent marks; and Miss Yamuna Promod Naik, a student of St. Mary’s Convent High School, Mapusa, who secured 92.33 percent marks, at the SSC Examination, conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Panaji-Goa.
