Assuming you are using GWT 2.10.0, GXT expects a few things, (f.e.: user-agent ie8) which have been removed in GWT 2.10.0. You have to stay with GWT 2.9.0. (see: https://docs.sencha.com/gxt/4.x/guides/announcements/Announcements.html)
