I just implemented your most recent suggestion. It will only take effect on new messages, until the next time I rebuild all the message pages. I tested on http://mail-archive.com/gossip@jab.org (doing a full rebuild) and seems to improve the search results. Thank you again for the excellent suggestion. Jeff ---------- ---------- (2) suggestion for improvemetn in the search function. for example, only one msg contains the word "yasusada" in the fukuzawa archive. but search fetches 3 extra messages. this is caused because the search function picks up words in these 4 lines. * Prev by Date: [subj line] * Next by Date: [subj line] * Prev by thread: [subj line] * Next by thread: [subj line]
