I'm not saying no because it is technically hard. I'm saying no because mail-archive is for fully public lists, and that clearly is not compatible with your request. Additionally, at least in the current incarnation, I have no interest in providing custom work or enhancements to individual lists -- I don't do mail-archive because I'm a good samaritan or something, it's because I'm personally interested and enjoy building and running a large scale fully automated useful system. Any per-list work from me is a step backwards that I'm not motivated to take. That may change some day in the future, but not today. > Ok, is there way to totally remove a mailing list from your server? Have your lists stop sending archive@jab.org mail, then privately email me the listnames and I will nuke the archives. And please do not use mail-archive for any list ever again (i.e. consider yourself banned from the service for life.) As explanation, there is no personal malice or anything -- but I don't want private lists anywhere on mail-archive and I have the ban policy for lists that change their mind or are confused or something to help cut down on my per-list workload (something that I want to see as close to zero as possible). Anyway, please understand I'm not trying to be intentionally rude, but also that because this is not a commercial service, I also have the pleasure of not sweating some of the pleasantries that are usually invoked when sellers are trying to maximize their monetary return. -Jeff _______________________________________________ Gossip mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://jab.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gossip
