Just a reminder that on Thursday, December 7 at 1pm ET we have a Cataloging Forum on manuscript waste. This introductory session on this subject will be lead by Dr. Olszowy-Schlanger. To register for this session please register via the member portal. There was a time when manuscripts were recycled, many times as binding in books. In this session, Dr. Judith Olszowy-Schlanger will introduce us to manuscript waste used as binding in books. Professor Judith Olszowy-Schlanger, FBA, is a paleographer who specializes in medieval Jewish manuscripts. She hold the Chair of Hebrew and Judeo-Arabic Manuscript Studies at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes, PSL, Paris. Since September 2018, she has been President of the Oxford Center for Hebrew and Jewish Studies at Oxford University and Fellow of Corpus Christi College. All my best, Haim
