JOB VACANCY Our Client is a reputable mining contractor company creates opportunities qualified professionals to join its dynamic organization for the following position : POSITION TITLE : Community Development Manager JOB DESCRIPTIONS : Community Relations · To develop, improve and maintain good relations with the important stakeholders (government, community, media, contractors) · To develop and organize the communities programs and events that improved the outside and local public image about company and also enhance healthy and living standard in the surrounding region particularly the adjacent area. · Manage in partnership with client and operations all Site to develop Community Relations Plans that reflect the needs of the community, the client and contribute to securing the project. · Ensure the development and implementation of a Community Relations Plan so that can promote Company in a positive light to the community, recognise and provide benefits to the local community · To develop communication linkage between company and the surrounding communities so that the company will be more understanding the current and future need of communities, meanwhile the communities will understand how the mine and construction functions, what benefit of existence of a mine and construction operation brings to the surrounding region · To manage the program of incidental community donation which both support community and company activities Internal Relations · To develop and maintain effective relationship with all members of the Site Management Teams and Jakarta office and specially: o All Project Managers who have direct accountability for aspects of the operation, which have an impact on the local area. o The Industrial Relations Manager who has accountability for managing company's relationships with employees and with the Local & Provincial Government. o The Manager Environment whose team members are in close contact with some of the local communities. External Relations · To develop and maintain the external relationship: · Government officials, at the Provincial and local levels, who have responsibility for operation Sites. · Local community leaders (both formal and informal) · A cross section of members of the local community. · Members of NGOs who may be active in all company's operation Sites / areas. · Incumbents of equivalent roles in other companies in Indonesia who are operating in similar environments. · Key Consultants. · Other companies in Indonesia Operating in similar environments. Managerial Leadership · Building, maintaining and improving the Community Relations Team so that employees know what is expected of them, how they are performing, what their needs are and what their future is. · Understanding the issues being faced by individuals and team within the area; being visible throughout the work areas to review how work is being performed. · Actively demonstrating commitment to company's consultative and, where appropriate, paternalistic management style. · Demonstrating and promoting behavior so that work is carried out in a way that is consistent with valuing people, integrity, teamwork and high standards. · Ensuring effective communications systems are in place and are being used to enable open timely and two-way sharing of information.
