We were going to have them append the disclaimer below their signatures, but they wanted an alternative just for enforcement reasons. To make sure that everybody is in compliance with company policy.
One of the guys at Declude is attempting to see if with html tags on the FOOTER line in the global.cfg we can append html to the e-mail, but after installing the app and seeing it looks like it does the same thing as the trailer.txt so I'm not too hopeful. I'd like to just make everyone use plain text, but lots of people get travel reservations, etc and they won't part with them. Plus they have to be able to paste their pictures in e-mails, right?? It would be very nice to stick with IMail as the only mail solution, and I'd rather not switch mail servers just for this stupid disclaimer, but we'll do what's required.. This may be a good time to look into using MS SMTP as your outbound, since there are many free, multipart-aware disclaimer utils out there for that platform.
