I still do consulting for customers who run IMail. I also work for some
who run Sendmail. Now let me tell you this, I'd prefer IMail with
activation and hefty server requirements to Sendmail any day of the
week. But if either customer asks, I won't suggest they keep either.
That's my opinion, I may be wrong.
