For those running sonicwalls at anything above 10Mb half-duplex on the WAN interface ... I would tell you to try some testing ... I found this dropped packet issue in six different sonicwall models/firmware.
What I found is lower than expect performance when the WAN interface is switched higher than 10Mb half-duplex ... on some models it was only 100K a second lower on others it was closer to 598K a second. They may have fixed it in later firmware ... but in the TZ170 models they haven't fixed it yet (as of 11-1-05). Christopher Checca Packard Transport, Inc.
