Only mail going to SENT box should be from the user himself. So a cheap, near 100% (but not perfect) fix is to have him log into his web account, put in a filter to delete any msg not coming FROM his address (SELECT FIELD = From / check Doesn't Contain / PHRASE = his address). This should work unless they are also spoofing his address as their sending address.
