http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-19981110-DD02.htm Explains what cause an
MX Connect Fail.

Also make sure to disable any real-time scanning software (not part of
Imail) from scanning the \Imail\Spool directory.

Hi,

There was a problem with the DNS lookup, but I've fixed that since. For
example, here are the log lines from a test I just ran:

09:08 10:26 SMTP-(604601880000000e) processing
D:\IMail\spool\q604601880000000e.smd
09:08 10:26 SMTP-(604601880000000e) [x] looking up fhapc.com in HOSTS and MX
09:08 10:26 SMTP-(604601880000000e) Trying fhapc.com (0)
09:08 10:26 SMTP-(604601880000000e) [x] Connecting socket to service <SMTP>
on host <fhapc.com> using protocol <tcp>
09:08 10:26 SMTP-(604601880000000e) [x] using source IP for
mail2.bcwebhost.net [192.168.0.2]
09:08 10:26 SMTP-(604601880000000e) [Att-Blk] Got Attachment Blocking Host
Info for mail2.bcwebhost.net
09:08 10:26 SMTP-(604601880000000e) MX connect fail "71.216.21.122"
09:08 10:26 SMTP-(604601880000000e) SMTP connection failed for host
fhapc.com

Curiously, these log lines do not mention that strange host name,
ocean.(etc.).

So I'm still stuck.

Ben
