  Well, Perl uses the newline sequence '\n' as a representation that is 
platform independant. If
  you use \n on Windows it means CRLF. If you use \n on Linux it means LF. If 
you use \n on OSX
  it means CR. Substituting \r\n or \n\r inplace of \n will do nothing more 
than throw the same
  error response.
