Good mainframe background - *Cobol, CICS.*
*Proficient in Excel.*
Strong data mapping skills. *Ability to read mainframe codes.*
* 7+ years experience writing technical documentation*
Create technical documents independently and convert architecture
concept into a consistent voice
Expertise in *Unified Modeling Language (UML) *
Knowledge in *MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel*
Knowledge in *IBM MQ, DB2 on mainframe and distributed environments
*
*Understand technical components and transport protocols (ie: FTP,
MQ, CICS, COBOL, API, SOAP/XML, WSDL, etc.)*
Ability to read *COBOL and .NET source code*
Knowledge of* SDLC*
*Ability to read/create and understand software/application flow
drawings and system specifications*
Must be detail-oriented, work well in a team environment, and
reliably produce high-quality results.
*Knowledge in financial industry is a plus*
