Candidates should be experienced & highly dynamic, be a creative & motivated
type of individual with an Information Technology background.
The selected candidates will need to quickly understand the functionality
supporting the CAMP project & its effect on the user community in order to
be effective members of the team.
These individuals will assist with the CAMP transformation of the
application to a .NET based architecture, eliminating the reliance on the
current framework based on the Foundation for Cooperative Processing (FCP).
They will be performing activities related to writing the instruction code
using WCF, WPF & .Net, testing modules & components, & providing guidance on
best practices & standards for the members of the development team. They
will participate in the integration of components & linking the new
architecture to the existing FCP platform to ensure functionality is
correctly developed.
*The individual selected is expected to possess (amongst others) the

* Must have a minimum of two years application development
experience using one or more of the following concepts & technologies:*
- Object Oriented Analysis, Design & Development
- UML
- XML
- N-tiered client/server development
- Web services
- JAVA based tools such as :
- Websphere
- Enterprise Java Beans
- IBM HTTP Server
- Ant – Java build tool *(Pass/Fail)*

*The following activities are indicative of the assignments/outcomes

Define & develop system & user requirements for the
re-engineering of one of the core functional systems
· participation in requirement & design sessions
· modeling & documenting solutions for changes & enhancements
· assist the Application Development team in preparing technical
designs & perform construction activities
· will work as part of the development team to perform technical
activities related to writing the instruction code using WCF, WPF & .net &
testing modules & components
· will participate in the integration of components & linking the

*Must have a minimum of two years experience performing
development work in one or more of the following specialty areas:*
- Unisys COBOL
- Micro Focus COBOL
- MAPPER
- RDMS
- C++
- Visual Basic 6.0
- Visual Studio .Net(or latest version)
- IIS
- COM+
- Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g, or higher
- Windows NT/2000/XP (or latest version of Microsoft Operating System)
- Telecommunications
· GUI *(Pass/Fail)*
*Desirable Experience*
1. Good communication & interpersonal skills*. *
2. At least 3 years experience in client, business tier & data tier
application development of complex, n-tiered client-server applications
using .NET* *
3. At least 3 years experience developing applications using all of
the following within the .NET 3.0 or later framework: VB.NET, WCF, WPF
4. At least 3 years experience using SQL, PL/SQL writing stored
procedures, functions, preferable in Oracle 10g or higher
5. At least 3 years experience writing unit tests & running
regression/integration tests
6. At least 2 years experience in performing knowledge transfer to
client staff of programming techniques supporting the development of
n-tiered client-server applications. (Provide concrete work experience not
theory).
