The cursor should be done in hardware and painted directly into the scanout
buffer.
Does any other item in the panel cause this?
Let's say I simply completely distrust QML.
Please edit
/usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.taskmanager/contents/ui/main.qml and
comment
// toolTipItem: toolTipDelegate
and
// ToolTipDelegate {
// id: toolTipDelegate
// visible: false
// }
restart plasmashell and check again.
