1. This option is already implemented. E.g. [3] beside the duration timecode in
the project bin means that the clip is used three times in the timeline. You
can also filter the bin clips to only show unused clips. It is also possible to
show all instances of a clip in the timeline (Right click on bin clip > Clip in
Timeline)
2. I am not really sure if this is necessary because as far as I can see you
can identify all of this with the functions mentioned above. Please check if
that is true and close this report if you don't see any valid points (for a
feature request) left.
