Sometimes the background recording activity stops when the user starts the
activity but not always. At the moment, the program freezes - the delay for
selecting the Table view row has been extended and cannot be selected. Then
Preview opens because I have been impatiently pressing the mouse twice.
Number of active album images 557.
It would be nice if the background processes could be turned off in the
settings.
