I think that libgphoto2 needs libusb1 at run time (or something like that).

And yes the Gphoto2 CLI tool will help to investigate. In digiKam, we call the
libgphoto2 API which is used in Gphoto2 CLI tool.

If i remember, the Gphoto2 CLI tool has a debug mode which can be turn on with
a env. variable. I don't know if it will work under windows.

Else you can ask help to Marcus Meissner who maintain the project. I CC him for
info to this file.
