Thank you Urs. I should've been more specific sorry. The track-listing is quite
manageable, it's the album list I find I have the problem. If it could show
maybe a little more information - eg. Country of release, or something like
that, that could make identifying the specific release  more efficient is what
I was thinking. Or even the ability to search against release number could be a
good solution?!

Just to give you an idea, I was looking up "In Utero" by Nirvana. There are
over 400 entries in Discogs, and adding more search terms in Kid3, I can
eliminate most irrelevant results. I can find the details on the website, but
matching it against the search results in Kid3 can be a bit tedious in cases
like these. Just a way to sort those results more easily would be great. Let me
know if some screenshots could be useful.
