I'd like to perform a kernel bisect to identify the commit that introduced this regression. We need to first identify the last good kernel version and the first bad one. Do you know what kernel was the last one that did not exhibit this bug? If not, I can post some download links, so prior kernels can be tested.

I tried 4.8.0-15 from yakkety and 4.8.0-16 from yakkety- proposed. Currently I am seeing the last message in my console at boot up as: [ OK ] Started Bluetooth service and then... it just sits there. Through the use of snapshots, restores, and package bisects, I've definitively narrowed it to linux-generic linux-image-generic and linux-headers-generic.
