For those wondering what "remove i2c_801 from modules blacklist" means:
You should modify /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf and comment the line with 
"blacklist i2c_i801" (i.e. add a # at the beginning of the line).

  Synaptics devices on Lenovo X1C6 and X280 can not work via PS/2 mode, it show:
