Agree 100%... it's more than 30 years that the relational db people
agree on the NULL value significance or even acceptance (it isn't here?
has a default value? simply it's no significant?) and the
instance/attribute/value DB (which the kicad attribute system is a kind
of...) only *sometimes* have a default value defined.

IMHO if there is no value, the attribute has no reason to stay...
