SQL Developer/ARCHITECT with heavy experience in COGNOS required

follows.
Before we embark in further development in our Cognos environment, we wish
to document our existing environment (including data feeds and processes).
We are seeking a consultant with good SQL knowledge because our server and
many of our queries use SQL. These data feeds and queries are being used to
populate a data warehouse that is used for Cognos-based reporting.
Please let us know if you can supply candidates for this documentation
effort."
*Required Skills:-*
- 3+ years experience with SQL Server, SQL queries - strong background in
DOCUMENTATION using SQL - data feeds and processes..
- Consultant need to have experience with data warehouse/Cognos-based
reporting tools.
- Samples of consultant's prior work are required.
Documentation Effort
- Candidates should be knowledgeable in:
- SQL
- Cognos
- Architectural design documentation – we would want to see examples
of prior work
· The statement of work for the documentation effort should include
the following:
*DOCUMENTATION SOW (Statement of Work)*
The output should be an architectural design that details the processes,
queries, and programs used by the Cognos environments (at Corporate and
York) to pull or receive data feeds from multiple sources and how they
clean, transform, calculate, or report on that data to produce reports,
smart reports, or Cognos cubes.
The Corporate environment
· List of all reports being produced. Many reports are derivatives
of other reports; we need to document the major reports.
· For each report:
o Source of data
o “scrubbing” process that is used
o Tables used for conversion of data
o Outcome after the conversion
o Formulas used for reporting
o Delivery format for distributing

· Process to extract the data from multiple sources
