Hyperion Administrator position in NY This person contributes to the company's success by supporting the internal and external reporting of the organization's financial results through the application of Hyperion and interrelated software programs and coordination of the compilation and consolidation of entity level accounting and financial data. The Hyperion Senior Financial Analyst will occupy both a key role in the Finance team and serve as an interface with the Hyperion Systems Analyst in the Financial Operations group. Major Task Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: - Ensure accuracy, completeness and integrity in the data that is reported in actual, plan, forecast and pro-forma files. - Prepare journal entries as well as various financial analyses used for internal and external reporting. - Prepare management reporting packages such as Flash Reports for senior executive team. - Assess and analyze data to determine the validity of results and trouble shoot questionable results. Record and reconcile worldwide performance reporting. - Determine alternative validation methods and propose process improvements as appropriate. - Develop operational and GAAP earnings per share reporting. - Perform Sarbanes-Oxley controls and maintain internal control documentation related to financial reporting processes. - Work with domestic business units, international locations and HQ to implement account changes, implement new reports, and compile and apply specific journal entries. - Create, develop and implement automated reports to support the filing of timely SEC reports- 10-Q, 10K
