Let me know if you have any consultants with the following skills Job Title: Java Developer - BEA Portal Location: San Diego, CA Duration: 12-18 months+ 50/hr CTC Job Description: This position will be working on the Dynamic Pricing project and will focus on maintaining and enhancing the My Account Customer Portal application and related technologies. Under the leadership and tactical supervision of a Software Development Project Lead, Senior Developers collaborate with internal customers, Business Analysts, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to develop, test, implement and support business applications. Individuals in this job position should be familiar with all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle and project management techniques. Senior Developers may nave leadership responsibility for small projects, regularly coach other team members, and may plan work for others to meet project deadlines. Senior Developer primary job functions include a.. Perform analysis to identify system impacts and estimate development effort. b.. Formulate technical solutions to meet business requirements. c.. Develop technical designs, detail designs and other project documents. d.. Program components, modules, perform unit and integration testing and support system testing efforts. e.. Monitor and report project status, issues and risks. f.. Foster and maintain good relationships with internal customers and IT. g.. Provide technical consulting support: on projects and production system issues. External Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent work experience and technical training is required. 5+ years of J2EE experience in developing and implementing IT projects and supporting 24/7 production systems is required. Experience in the following is required: a.. Solid hands on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript. b.. e-commerce experience c.. Preferred: Basic knowledge of is frameworks- prototype, jquery. d.. Experience with different types of Portlets (especially JPF, JSP, JSR 168 portlets). e.. Experience with web-services (SOAP, Restful). f.. Hands on experience with Oracle, DB2 databases. g.. Experience with Performance Testing/Engineering. h.. Strong knowledge of UML 2.0. Knowledge of EA Sparx Modeling tool preferred. i..
