Mainframe to the Tandem. Also Replication MF to DW platform (Oracle) Expert knowledge of Replication (in one of the above, Tandem, MF DB2 or IMS) Goldengate and IBM Replication Tools Use mutliple times in Replication POC Environment set-up, building out the over environments. Replication works along with existing DBA. Setup the Tool, Configure tool Expierence with bi-directional replication. As a Replication Engineer, you will administer, maintain and utilize policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the replication environment across various platforms. Implement replication models and designs, resolve replication performance issues and capacity issues. Lead the efforts of installing and maintaining replication & replication management and/or monitoring software.* *You will work with the Infrastructure, Application Architects and Database Administrator to help design and implement the physical replication model. Help develop and validate the replication implementation plan. Create replication objects and maintain their physical organization/relationships. Support the data loads via replication. Ensure that the replication, and any enhancements, interact efficiently with the database. Develop and implement replication performance monitoring process and analyze monitoring data for performance optimization opportunities. Create/Implement replication maintenance plan to ensure data integrity.
