*Please send resume to easw...@vasysgroup.com* * * *Title: Infrastructure Analyst * *Location: Moline, IL* *Duration: long –term * *Specific duties of this position:* Maintain availability of DDHC infrastructure and the related products and services. This includes, but not limited to, Windows and UNIX servers, Cisco routers and switches, Cisco PIX and Nokia firewalls, Citrix gateways, Hosted Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Internet content filtering, Anti Virus Services, Dealer Legacy and EQUIP Business Systems; and several dealer hosted applications. Manage the operational activities of DDHC (Deere Dealer Hosting Center). Provide third level support of network communications problems/issues. Implement periodic software/hardware upgrades to DDHC infrastructure. Monitor network device logs and security alerts. Troubleshoot and escalate any potential problems. Utilize network and system management tools (Microsoft SCOM, Solarwinds, Citrix Edgesite) to determine proactive steps to avoid unscheduled down time. Manage software licenses for the hosting data center. Maintain hosting data center technical documentation. Participate in an on-call schedule to provide 24x7 hour support. Perform some duties after regular business hours to ensure dealers SLA's are met. *Required Skills, Knowledge, & Relevant Work Experience:* Understanding of a wide range of infrastructure components including windows 2003/2008 servers, web servers, application servers, MS Exchange, SharePoint, HP Unix, relational databases (SQL), scripting, networking, DNS, firewalls, Telecom T1 and DS3 circuits, VPN and Frame Relay technologies. Ability to operate in a multi-platform, multi-operating system, multi-component environment utilizing a large number of server builds and configurations. Have solid analytical skills and the desire to gain further experience in multiple technologies. Have strong communication and Project management skills and the demonstrated ability to drive for results. Ability/desire to participate and contribute to a strong, supportive team environment.
