Bug detailed description:

Can't boot 32 bits up or smp guests with smp 2.6.9 kernel on 32e and pae
platform. Use ia32pae rhel4u1/rhel4u2/rhel4u3/fc4 images with smp kernel to
boot guests will see the guest hang as the attachment shows.
with "-no-acpi" option can boot;
use up 2.6.9 kernel to boot guest have no problem;
Reproduce steps:
----------------
1 create qcow image
qemu-img create -b /share/xvs/img/linux/ia32p_rhel4u3.img -f qcow2
/share/xvs/var/4u1
2 boot guest with acpi enabled
qemu-system-x86_64 -m 512 -net nic,macaddr=00:16:3e:3c:0c:9e,model=rtl8139 -net
tap,script=/etc/kvm/qemu-ifup -hda /share/xvs/var/4u1
