Cane ground has more stitches!

In a windmill crossing the pairs are used as if they were single threads and you work a cloth stitch with a pin in the middle.

In cane gound the pairs are pairs - each pair from one plait works cloth stitch and twist (ctct) through the two pairs of the other plait making 4 stitches in all! The corner bits in the diagram are the finish/start of plaits.
