When you are in the Greenwich area do also try to see Ranger's House
in Blackheath, with the Suffolk Collection of Elizabethan and Jacobean
paintings with lots of lace.

This collection of paintings has been moved and is now in Kenwood House, Hampstead, London.

you'll find information about how to get there and what's there including The Suffolk Collection - "magnificent portraits of Elizabethan and Stuart men and women by William Larkin, Van Dyck and Lely, given by the Hon. Mrs Greville Howard in 1974."

You can see one of them (Richard Sackville, 3rd Earl of Dorset) if you go to

They are definitely worth seeing.
