I had a discussion with the Fedora design ppl about if they can help us with some refreshment of the logo. It's quite a long ticket: https://pagure.io/design/issue/613 Long story short, in order to avoid any kind of trademark issues, I want to open the discussion if anybody is against renaming the software and the service to ivatar. Of course libravatar.org domain should stay and serve the requests, as it does now! And the new software is still a fork of what Francois developed of the years and I don't want to forget our legacy! I'm not a lawyer, but I ultimately trust Máirín Duffy when it comes to design/trademark issues and stuff. I discussed this upfront with Francois and now in the IRC meeting. And we agreed to move this discussion to the m/l. Discussion opened hereby. :-) KR, Oliver PS: Francois, I know you said it's AGPL, but I was told that AGPL cannot/doesn't cover the logo... And honestly, I didn't want to dig deeper into the rabbits hole and educate myself on this licensing stuff...
