Select a spreadsheet cell 2. In data menu select Validity 3. Select Error Alert 4. Tick "Show error message when invalid values are entered" 5. Enter a error message 6. From the "action" drop down list select: Stop, Warning, or Information 7. Now select an invalid value Current behavior: The error message displayed has no stop, warning or information icon associated with the type of error.
