a) It's a different problem. 1 problem/1 bug, it's far easier to manage.
b) idem a)
c) we're still stuck here. You have crashes ok but without a file and step by
step process to reproduce this, it's complicated...
d) idem a)+ not sure but it seems some work has been done about this, see
tdf#88314
