But it has been a topic previously, which I've linked in the URL field:

I think the issue here is that it is not straight-forward to know how the user
has structured the information in their spreadsheet to then export that into an
ICS file...

I assume it would have to be a guided process, asking the user which column
goes where (start date-time, end date-time, description of event...).
Although I appreciate the thought of supporting more open formats, I can only
imagine this being done as an extension, really.

Could you please share an example file that you would like to export as ICS?
