Essential Background and Skills: * 5+ years of proven experience in Python or NodeJS and associated development frameworks. Knowledge and experience in other programming languages and technologies will be considered an advantage. * Experience in relational databases (NOSQL databases - an advantage). * Experience in design and development of REST APIs * Experience with Linux and its toolchain. * Background and experience in cloud and virtualized environments - at least some of AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, OpenStack, VMware, KVM, Hyper-V. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. * Experience at startups and growth-stage tech companies. * Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. * Highly driven and independent. Fast self-learner. * Ability to work individually and in small teams. Ability to plan ahead and execute according to plan.
