Also, for people who are too lazy to build all the git tree from source ((like me :-)), if you are using an Ubuntu-based distribution, you can use this PPA : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-dev/+archive/lubuntu-daily, and pick up any update version you want (all the packages are build from git source daily). Also, if you are using a Debian-based system, you can also download the git tree, and build .deb directly from git (using dpkg-buildpackage -tc or any command of you choice which build .deb).
